Dolphins offensive line coach resigns after video of him snorting powdery white substance surfaces
Foerester resigned on Monday morning, and the Dolphins are reportedly investigating.
A video surfaced online this weekend that appears to show Dolphins offensive line coach Chris Foerster snorting a powdery white substance.
The Dolphins are aware and investigating, the Miami Herald reports. On Monday morning, it was reported that Foerster was resigning from the Dolphins.
Someone in the organization reportedly confirmed to the paper that the video is of Foerster :
The Miami Dolphins are aware of an internet video that apparently shows offensive line coach Chris Foerster snorting an unknown powdery substance while at work at some point in his NFL career.
The team is not commenting but league sources say there will be an investigation about the video and Foerster’s fate with the Dolphins will be decided as early as Monday.
“We were just made aware of the video and will have no comment at this time,” a team spokesman said Sunday night.
The video clearly shows Foerster’s face. A club source confirmed that is Foerster on the video.
The video shows Foerster sitting at a table and looking into a camera as he speaks. “How about me going into a meeting and doing this before I go?” he says, and then uses a rolled up $20 bill to take in lines of the white powdery substance off the table.
There’s a lot we still don’t know about this video: When it was taken, where it was taken, what the context might be, and even what Foerster’s snorting.
Dolphins head coach Adam Gase was “processing” the situation, ESPN reported. The network said it reached Foerster and he didn’t comment.
