I would like to add that for anyone that would complain about this poster's poll or that poster's poll, the more people that vote, the less weight each poll has. So, rather than just complaining, vote. Get others to vote. If we get 10+ posters voting, everything pretty much normalizes.

You realize that yours is not the only poll people have complained about, right? People have complained about MD's tendency to rank Miami much higher than they are ranked by pretty much everyone else. So, it's not just you.

Also, I made the post comparing the rankings with your poll and without your poll to show that your poll didn't actually change the rankings that much. Since, you know, everyone was bitching about it.

TBH, I don't have a huge problem with MD's poll considering most people's rankings are pure opinion, anyway.

In the few years I've done the polls, I've found that most people don't homer-rank. In fact, I would say probably around half the time, people rank their own teams worst than average.

1st I said I'd skew my poll for md ranking several teams ahead of Bama. Like I think Miami is around 6 or 7, but he has them 1. So I'd have to put Miami at 11 to make up for md ranking then 5 spots ahead where I think they should be.


2. I then said But then you have people like BD, & Free (and Beav) who have legitimate looking polls (IMO) so I want to be respectful to y'all as y'all were to my team and therefore I don't want to have to skew my poll.



I would disagree with your poll with several spots, but only by flip flopping teams.


I'd of course out Bama 1. I think we are #1 until we lose. Simple, we are defending 2x NC's and are undefeated so to me that says #1. JMO

Then FSU and Clemson swapped.
