An you're an idiot... Gurley injured his thigh in the offseason, re-aggravated the injury on the 79 yard TD run against Clemson and was playing through the pain for the rest of that first half before the training staff noticed he was in serious pain and decided it would be in his best interest to sit him. Ankle turns can happen to any player at any time. Did you expect him to play in that boot he was wearing against LSU? :facepalm

Davis or Gurley?

Yeah I think you used the same excuse about our backs were only good because of our O line but you want to play out like that isn't a difference for Davis & Gurley

Also as you pointed out, having Marshall to help him, I'm pretty sure gives him an advatage.

Davis faced 2 ranked teams. And he faced UgAs defense that you said was Better than last years UGA defense, while Gurley faced USCs defense.

And I think you might be one of the posters that like to tell the Miami fans not to bring up "injuries" when talking about Duke, so why would you mention his "thigh injury"

All ball players are hurt.

UGA does, obviously meaning we don't have to rely on just our ground game like USC does and has over the past 4 years. Alabama's offensive lines have been in a class of their own. Bama backs are in the secondary before even being touched more times than not. Gurley earns every fucking step as our oline play is mediocre at best. This years defense will be better by the end of the season, you do know our run defense was horrid last year, correct? I mention his thigh injury because it's a legit problem that he has been grinding through for months and will continue to play through the rest of the season. Every time Duke left a game with an "injury" last year, there were never any injuries reported and he was available for the next game every time. It's like if he can't run for 300 yards, he folds and goes to sit down to keep his average up. :dunno

I don't know many playmakers outside of the SEC and ACC...because I see all those games. I half watch the pac -12 and Big 12 games because while I enjoy the game, they don't matter in terms of affecting my team or teams I don't like. So I kind of switch around those games and don't focus enough to learn names.

Our starting safties this year are Terrance Brooks and Tyer Hunter (both studs) but I think you are talking about Lamarcus Joyner (a badass at Safty) who moved to Corner this year. He is lightening fast and pound for pound hits harder than anyone on our team. You might have also been talking about Karlos Williams (who moved to RB) but I doubt it.

But pretty sure you are talking about Lamarcus Joyner. Corner out of HS. Corner his Freshman year, Safty his Sophmore and Junior year and moved back to Corner this year, his Senior Year. He will play Corner in the NFL.
