Hargreaves update Interception Thrown at twenty times Two more picks than catches. Dude is god mode. Secrant is agreeing he is already making a case for best corner in the sec..
Yes I will. I seriously am in love with this guy all home 91. If I knew you'd watch it, I'd give you every defensive possession we've had from youtube and give you exact times he's been thrown too..and you'd see why I promise. It's remarkable. He is actually in better position to make the catch than the receiver on over half of them. Considering SECrant I posted he is the best CB in the SEC and almost no one argued it. Every who has watched him is shocked at what he does.
Here I'll do one..I was going to do Miami but he didn't start till week 3. So I'll show him vs Tennessee.
1:06 - Maybe offensive PI..he had a better shot than the receiver. Is inside his arms and playing the ball 2:40 - Covers the slant, receiver breaks out off route, no chance at any time during the play 4:15 - Pass interference prevents him picking it off most likely 6:15 - Breaks off block for great tackle 8:34 - Don't watch the pass, watch the other end. It's one of the few wide shots to see just how close he stays 9:28 - The first of the two he's allowed all season in man...and that may have been zone 9:35 - Takes short because of safety help, exactly what you want you corner to do there. 11:15 - Yet again maybe offensive pass interference because he plays it perfectly
If you watch the whole thing, and just watch him(number 1, mostly on the bottom part of the screen). His receiver in man is never open. Never. It's the most remarkable thing I've seen. I played CB and have a soft spot for DB's, and this guy is just picture perfect at doing exactly what you're supposed too.
I'll stop spamming now, but this guy has got me excited. I love great corner play it's a position I played for 6 years. It's just fun to watch a great corner go at it and this guy may be the next great one.
We really just need a QB. Hopefully Murphy is as good as he has looked vs bad teams. Our run game is solid, our oline is good when healthy. We have lacked the most important position since Tebow and Newton left though. Until we get good QB play, we will continue to win around 8-10 a year but not do enough to win a title. It's like watching LSU most years under Miles except this year obviously.
There is no heat on Muschamp. I think the heat has been on Pease but if his offense had a QB, it would be better. He does a lot of confusing formations, but we just never execute the damn play. Our receiver play has improved with Joker which was a huge hire and its an obvious difference from last year. It's just too hard to win with just the run and defense, it leaves games too close and turnovers, penalities, etc can turn the game against you. It's not a terrible strategy to get 8-10 wins a year, but it won't win a title until we can be balanced. I like what Bama does. They throw for around 250, rush for around it a lot of games. That's true balance. Not just calling equal amounts, but gaining equal and running a majority of the time still is a perfect set up for what we want to do. We just haven't had the Qb. He built the team based on what Saban does, because he is a disciple of Saban. But you can't do it without a QB to execute, simple as that.
