I don't know exactly what it does, so I don't know if it's wasteful or not. In the past, it was used to feed children and help prevent foreclosures.

My point, obviously, was that there are hundreds, if not thousands, of wasteful government projects... and almost all are more wasteful than this one potentially is. What made you choose this one? Not saying I support it, only that I'd look to cut wasteful spending from the top down.

Hey JD if it is a waste of money why are all the biggest charities in the world christian, let me know when athiest organizations feed / house the poor with their own donations and organizations or go on mission trips to build water systems, healthcare or education for people around the world. If there was something in the white house that could help them a little bit cutting red tape, it could save quite a bit in tax money by forced charity / government waste of it.

All the athiests just say the government should steal your money and do that with it instead of volunteering their own money and time to it.
