I was more talking about postsecondary education, like federal grants for research as well as additional funds for education. I know a lot of people worried about their jobs because of funding/budget cuts thanks to Dump. Tons of public institutions get funding from both the state and federal government.

There's a difference between a dearth and a complete lack of something. A dearth of working gas pumps would lead to really long lines for fueling up gas cars. A dearth of scientists would slow advancement in numerous fields because one scientist can only research so much. When two building fires break out and there's only one fire truck, which building do they try to save?

I just think it's funny that redtards generally were against "defunding the police" but don't seem care about it now that it's affecting even more jobs :facepalm Even some Repug politicians have told their employees to ignore Musk's "efficiency expert" email. Illegally firing government employees is something else to add to Dump's rap sheet...or is it Musk's?

Government agencies in general are underfunded and Dump's great idea to save money is to fire thousands of people performing critical work. :facepalm2

I've never seen cars tipped over or riots in person and I've lived in urban/suburban areas my entire life. There are shitty parts of pretty much every city, unlike the country where it's 100% shitty and nobody can hear you call for help. Great night skies, though. :2thumbs
