For the lumbar, core strengthening exercises and stretching. :2thumbs Worked wonders for me. Mine was L5-S1. It was pretty bad though. I could barely walk for 6 months. Couldn't go to Dr because of COVID idiocy. :jerkit

I had total knee replacement surgery in May 2023. Everything was covered/free. Literally! Even initial MRI and all subsequent X-rays. Only thing I paid for was physical therapy. $25.00 a visit. 2 visits per week for 4 months.

My pain doesn’t feel any different than the pain from the last 20 years so I’m not really sure. I’ve had MrIs before and apparently they didn’t show anything.


I haven’t done one single thing but I have done construction, landscaping, etc… in the last few years, so I have lifted lots of heavy things. We built a 100x60ftshop last years just me, the owner, and 2 tractors. We put in 12x12 posts, was handling 32ft pieces of metal and I put them all on myself.


But, like I said, the back and neck pain is bad for me, but it hasn’t gotten any worse in the last year. It was 1 year ago this week that I had my neck surgery from a slipped disc in my sleep.

My neck surgery from last year ran me at least 2k dollars.

In my defense, I busted my knee up playing soccer in high school in 1987. I’ve needed a total knee replacement almost my whole adult life but was always told I was too young and a knee replacement can only be done once if I fucked it up given my activity level. Now I’m not too young and due to technology advancements they can do it twice if needed. I’m 54.

I’ve never been in bad shape. But now I can run for exercise. Other types of cardio and cross fit I couldn’t do with a bum knee. I can do legs in the gym now. Can golf without knee getting stiff. Blood work is great.
