I was around Macon when I posted that. Drove straight through Atlanta. Not quite as bad in one jam as Dallas was... but overall the average speed on I-75 around 2PM was 35MPH. :lolthumb

I wasn't on I-95 so I was OK. Nowhere I've been is quite as bad as Darien. And I wasn't about to make a giant C to go to eastern tiny-c, no matter how much of a giant C i seem like/am.

Fuck Atlanta. I spent over an hour in avoidable traffic jams because they closed 3 lanes TWICE along I-75. Fucking retards. At least I could use the HOV... outside of both jams.

lol. That's just normal operating procedure for me. The worst is turning left on a certain stretch of road, but that's true everywhere, I think.

The initial ETA was 2:30PM and we ended up getting back at 4:30PM. Nearly ran out of gas in south Georgia: had 6 miles left when we finally got to a working gas station (first one we tried was out of a bad horror flick).
