-Create jobs (toll booths/handlers/accountants))
-Reduce taxes (for road infrastructure, at least)

Currently, 60% of electricity comes from fossil fuels, 20% from nuclear, and 20% from inefficient, often ecosystem damaging “renewables”.

That's only if you live in a backwards shithole that only uses coal to generate electricity. Many civilized areas don't use coal-powered electric plants.

:wave Tennessee. Stuck in the 19th century. Maybe if your poor asses paid more taxes you wouldn't have craters on I-40.

Probably every public highway, not just the interstates.

I’m a little bit ignorant in the subject but are the highways “state public” or “federal public”? I assumed they were state public.

We all remember what happened to Texas renewable energy last year. :dog

But hey, it’s easier to fool a fool then it is to convince a fool that he’s been fooled.

Then why are you saying electric cars use coal? Do you think Teslas have furnaces?
Tennessee PRODUCES more nuclear power than anything else, but you shitbirds use more energy than you make.
The most-used energy source for Tennessee is gas. Coal is a significant contributor, too.

They're maintained by the state.

Make every road a toll road unless you drive a 100% electric car.
-Create jobs (toll booths/handlers/accountants)) So roughly 100 minimum wage jobs for every above minimum wage job?
-Reduce taxes (for road infrastructure, at least) How often does adding taxes/fees/tolls result in the lowering of taxes? I imagine it may have happened once or twice.
-Reduce air pollution. Forcing tens of millions to sit in multiple toll lines several times a day would obviously increase pollution.
-Encourages localized commerce. For the poor, maybe.
-Encourages public transit use and improvement. Public transit sucks. If successful, would require massive investment in public transit.

This would also greatly increase shipping times and costs.
This would also drive many lower middle class families into poverty and put the poorest families on the brink of starvation.

But making people poorer and more dependent on government is always the goal of the left. Unless they're too retarded to see the unintended consequences of their policies, which is also quite possible.

1. Do you think public transit is more expensive than owning a car?
2. Time impact depends how the tolls are done. Modern tolls use cameras and bill the tags. I got them driving on expressways in TX. You didn't have to stop.

Also I said I'd be a bad politician. :lolthumb
