Quote The Big Ten, Big 12 and Pac-12 will also consider games in which one team is unable to play as forfeits. However, those three conferences will not administer losses to both teams in the event of a double forfeit. Instead, games will be considered "no contests." The ACC and SEC will give losses to both teams if they both can't play due to COVID. :facepalm2 |

Seems you should like it as it gives incentives for the teams to be fully vaccinated…. 1. Are they going to require a 3rd shot at some point in the middle of the season? 2. What if your team is 100% vaccinated and you still have an outbreak and can't play? (I thought you only had to forfeit if your team was <85% vaccinated and couldn't field a team due to COVID) 3. Forcing previously infected people to get vaccinated is retarded and anti-science. "But I already have antibody levels higher than any vaccinated person..." "Fuck you. Submit." |

Is the Tollybon unable to "play" due to COVID? Hell, they just moved up a division or two.
US never intended to win, and left the game at halftime. Only bad things happen when you schedule cupcakes. :sadyes |

M.I.A. is reducing bowl practices thanks to a COVID outbreak. Disgusting pigs.
The Faggies had a similar outbreak and forfeit will not play in the Gator Bowl vs. Wake Forest. Dirty players, dirty coaches, dirty programs. :lolthumb |

That flu was 1000x worse than fucking Omicron. :jerkit CFB in 5 years: "Yeah, so our QB got all stressed out about the game and got hives. We're gonna have to cancel." I mean once you accept a bowl bid you shouldn't be allowed to "unaccept" it. I don't think I've ever heard of such a thing. I know some of them have gotten cancelled, but yeah. IDK why you'd get that pissed about a couple teams practicing/playing less. I would be/am more pissed about asshole players skipping the bowl games because they don't want to risk getting hurt... They should have their legs/knees broken just on principle. If you want to skip something, skip your senior season. Don't just quit while the season still has games left. |

It doesn't hurt your team or benefit the other team if you forfeit a meaningless exhibition anyway. In addition to the forfeit, they should also give their opponent any bowl money.
