I'm curious what people think will happen when Dems officially get control of the Senate, the House and the Presidency. I am not talking about old school Democratic rule. I am talking about the new school, country destroying, socialistic Democratic rule.
How close are we to complete ruination. It still baffles me that educated people think Socialism will work. However, what will change? Small or big? Thoughts? |

Change will be relatively small, if Manchin (opposes court-packing, ending filibuster, and adding states) remains alive. We're essentially going back to the Obama years. We will return to ignoring corruption, grift, harsh punishment of whistleblowers, government surveillance, bombing brown people for cash, and regulations written by big business to destroy small businesses. We're going back to the days of the Teleprompter President, where 99% of the words he speaks are not his own. And you'll pay more in taxes, of course.
If you're a Neocon, just think of it as Bush Jr, but with more taxes/regulation and less media hysteria. Riots will likely pause until 2022, when Dems will demand we fix problems caused by Dem police in places with Dem mayors and Dem governors... by electing more Dems. The path back to power is very easy for Republicans: Oppose war Oppose excessive foreign aid (including Paris Accord, UN, WHO, NATO, etc) Oppose surveillance Support freedom of the press and whistleblower protections Support small business Support smaller government and less government waste (been a long time since they've actually done this) And, obviously, oppose increasingly insane Dem policies Will they do this? Unlikely, because they are idiots and bitches comfortable with getting steamrolled by Dems. It will be up to voters to get rid of the Neocon/establishment Republicucks. I'd recommend ignoring politics, improve yourself and your family, and take comfort in the fact that midterms are usually a disaster for the party in power. And in 2022, primary the fuck out of every establishment Republican. |

Ever since the day after the election I did just that and said fuck it. I deleted Reddit and TSH is really the only place I use. I’m much happier because of it |

FSUKW wrote Wonder how many businesses Biden will scare back overseas? Did Trump really bring that many back to the US? I know he wanted to, but I can't imagine it amounted to more than 0.01% of GDP. Real change on that front would require major long term policy changes. |

Mob Rule.
The federal government in coordination with Big Tech media are one big party if elitists and we aren't part of it. What right do any of these clowns have to govern over us? We are nothing more than tax cattle in their gigantic money laundering scheme. It is time to dissolve the union, preferably peacefully, but these sociopaths in power will force it to be violent. :chaingun Let the killing commence |

Eye_of_Horus wrote Mob Rule. What exactly do you think Dump was doing on January 6? Inciting democracy and freedom or tyranny and a mob to overthrow the government? It's always, ALWAYS the dumbass Repugs who act like their 74M votes should outweigh 81M and call it fair. It's all Fox News is spewing "74M voters feel disenfranchised!" as if the Repugs haven't been on the wrong side of the popular vote all but one time since 1989. It's good to know that Dems are taking over your shithole stronghold states like GA and there's definitely hope for the future in TX. Isn't it a conservitard thing to say "America: Love it or leave it." I suggest any conservitard here to practice what they preach, especially if they're afraid that the Dems will rile up mobs to invade their homes and workplaces in an act of terrorism. But that's really not our thing. |
