5,000+ Days

Postby JdPat04 » July 12th, 2020, 6:51 pm

Since tennessee beat Alabama....

(From June 29)
Happy Monday, everyone. Many people pointed out on social media yesterday that we have reached and now surpassed the 5,000 day mark since Tennessee beat Alabama. The last time that happened:

George W. Bush was president
American Idol was the top show on TV
“SexyBack” by Justin Timberlake was atop the charts
The Dow Jones Industrial had just surpassed 12,000 for the first time ever
We were still ten months away from the launch of the first iPhone
Twitter was four months old and Instagram was four years away

We may have seen the last Tennessee Alabama already. Tennessee won’t get a chance until 2021 at the earliest. By then the civil war and next phase will have started though. Sports may be over forever

I’m hoping we can do a conference only schedule. We can even go 8 games over 16 weeks. Let the stadiums be 50% capacity
