No, doesn’t Michigan usually win?

Half of Michigan's defense usually doesn't sit out the bowl game. Only a corch on Mullen's level could convince them to do so.
Michigan is this year's Barn. Bowl committee really protected da gata by refusing to match them with UCF.

Meh. Harbaugh tanked it. He’ll be coaching in Tampa next year.

The point though. This Michigan program destroyed UF just last year. This year's Michigan team was better than last year's. The turn around is the key. A team UF got destroyed by, just got destroyed by UF. Shows how much progress has been made
Let's not forget. Frank's despite being average and dumb..has had incredible growth. Mullen is that good. Just ask Fitz at State what happens when he isn't coaching him.
Miami and FSU hired recruiters(though FSU isn't really recruiting quite as well as expected). Florida hired a coach. Though we may finish top ten with Steele and Elam coming on board as well on the recruiting side.
Anyone arguing Tagg had a better or near equal to Mullen is bat shit crazy. Mullen clearly did better year one. Took four win to ten win. FSU actually regressed.

But solid win over a Michigan team who took this meaningless exhibition so seriously that four* of their best players decided to sit this one out. :lolthumb
*is that a record?

Fitz has more TDs, less INTs, more YPA, and a higher passer rating than he did last year.
Solid point. :ROFL

Big difference. Muschamp was fools gold with Meyers left overs.
Mullen walked into the worst clue Chip ratio UF has had since Spurrier left. He also walked into the worst QB in the SEC(Mac got Grier), worst UF defense since 07, and no depth at four positions. Only real talent he had was DE and RB that was SEC level performance wise.

He improved EVERY area of UFs program this year. Can you remotely say that about Tagg? Who improved this year for FSU soundly? I saw regression across the board. Taggart isn't even recruiting as well as he was supposed to. So literally what can he do? Cristobal seems to be the reason he had that elite Oregon class. He has to bring in a rape support coach to help his offense, and I'm sure you justify it in your mind somehow.
Briles may save Taggarts shit offense. He is a great offensive mind I agree. But will Tagg give him the space to let him run it? Will you get better position coaches? Because your coaching group is blah outside of three coaches and very much under performed.
End of day. Mullen had the best improvement in the country. Taggart the team regressed. Just see UF vs FSU. Amazing how one year, with the same amount of returning players, one program went to shit and one just won a New Year's Six game isn't it? Shows just how much better Mullen is.
Unless you can ignorantly claim a four win UF team with FAR LESS blue chips was better set up than a top five blue Chip FSU talent wise...your argument is beyond ridiculous. Mullen had far less to work with, he just took what he had and improved it. Taggart fell apart like a child, and got gang raped by every remotely good team he faced.

I'm not sure how many times I've explained our OL situation (a dozen or so, I'd imagine), or how you've conveniently overlooked it every single time. It really is that simple. In addition to 3 years of recruiting and development ranging from lazy to non-existent, FSU lost its top 3 offensive tackles before the first half of our first game. If you watched any FSU games (other than the first half of the Miami game), that should be glaringly obvious. FSU had the worst OL in FBS. When you have no OL, you can't run. When you have no OL, you can't pass. If we had the best skill players in the nation at every position and our offense was run by the greatest minds in the history of football, it would still suck with our current OL.
Since you clearly don't read anything I write, read what other people write:
Some metrics, like Pro Football Focus, had FSU with three of the worst nine offensive linemen in the entire country, among regular contributors, and two more who ranked in the bottom 750 nationally, two in the mid-500s, and only one who ranked better than 450th. That means FSU had zero linemen graded in the top-half of the nation by PFF.
Using another metric, Bill Connelly’s S&P+ system, FSU finished the year at 130th in Line Yards, 129th in Line Yards on SD, 119th in Line Yards on PD, 126th in opportunity rate, 108th in power success rate, and 125th in Stuff Rate allowed. Reminder: that’s out of 130 FBS teams.
I've posted all this already, of course. Much more in the link: https://www.tomahawknation.com/florida- ... ball-noles
I'm getting sick of posting this shit. Please read it. Twice.
