It didn’t take long for unhinged libs to blame President Trump and “climate change” for the fires in California. Headline today from Variety: “Neil Young, After Losing Home to Fire, Denounces ‘Unfit Leader’ Trump as ‘the Denier'" And CA Gov. Jerry Brown has also chimed in: “Managing the forests in every way we can does not stop climate change, and those who deny that are definitely contributing to the tragedies that we’re now witnessing, and will continue to witness in the coming years.” Wrong again Jerry! The primary reasons for these disasters are environmental policies starting with the Clinton administration. In 1994 Bubba strictly restricted the timber industry so as to protect old growth trees and “spotted owls.” Add many more regs since then and less logging means less thinning and fewer controlled burns. So for Brown to claim that the forests are now being “managed in every way they can” proves only one thing: Governor Moonbeam is the ultimate DENIER.

In Oregon some of the national forests do prescribed burns (Deschutes National Forest). And some do nothing (Willamette National Forest).

Willamette typically has larger wildfires.
