Dude Miami is not very good they are barely a top 25 team that has gotten lucky. They will implode and lose 3 games, I would guess more but their schedule sucks. Notre Dame and or VT will beat them, then they will lose the ACC championship and possibly the bowl game because they will likely be overmatched.
CraigKressel wrote:FSU is basically a glorified Boise State. The ACC was pretty much a mid major conference until VT, Miami joined and Clemson got better.
JimTrenzel wrote:JD, I am talking about the entire seasons schedule. Why are you only talking about up to this point? Right now it looks like OSU will play 4 teams that finish ranked. Bama, maybe 1. This is before any conference champ game.

It is not inconsistent it is reality. It would be like if a conference added Notre Dame, Notre Dame has not been good for a while but the prestige and the fact that they are better than your average conference team still will add legitimacy to the conference.
Miami is a top 10 program of all time, they just have not been that good the last decade or so, even though they aren't as good as they used to be they are still better than the average ACC team was in the 80s and 90s. I think they will be a powerhouse again at some point maybe within the next 5 years.

Ok if you say so, what teams were better in the 80s and 90s other than FSU? Virginia, NC State, North Carolina? Dude the ACC was fucking horrendous other than FSU. Clemson had some good years here and there but for the most part were pretty mediocre, maybe Georgia Tech at times.

TWO FUCKING DECADES DOES NOT EQUAL ALL TIME.
Miami was fucking legit for 20-25 years. One of the best runs in a time frame like that. However that's it.

Same with FSU, they were good for 15 years with a couple of decent years in there beyond that and if the NCAA, Tallahassee police, FSU didn't let them play a rapist they wouldn't have any good years this millennium pretty much.
What ACC team from the old ACC team was ever good? Clemson outside of recent success is a middle of hte road program, same with GT. Other than that the rest of the programs are horrendous.
Do you idiots even know what you are saying here? Are any of these programs any good, Duke, Virginia, NC State, Maryland, NC, Wake Forest? They all fucking suck. GT and Clemson had a few great seasons then were pretty average to crappy the rest of the time. That is the entire ACC from FSU's hay day, now that the ACC is a real conference FSU has sucked ass.
CraigKressel wrote:Still waiting for you dumbasses to tell me what teams were good in the ACC?
Yea and you guys lost to Miami, Florida, Notre Dame if I recall, its not like you won every game. You had 8 automatic wins cause every team in the ACC sucked during the 90s other than FSU every year plus a cupcacke or 2 OOC every year.
