D-list comedian Kathy Griffin is no longer sorry for mimicking an ISIS terrorist by posing with a fake severed, bloodied head of President Donald Trump.
Griffin, who was forced to apologize for the sick stunt shortly after receiving heavy backlash, claims the public reaction was overblown. In other words, it’s your fault, not hers. Spoken like a true leftist.
“I am no longer sorry. The whole outrage was B.S.,” Griffin told Australian morning show Sunrise (video below). “The whole thing got so blown out of proportion.”

Griffin continued: “I lost everybody. I had Chelsea Clinton tweeting against me. I had friends, like Debra Messing from ‘Will and Grace,’ tweeting against me.”
Griffin was also fired from her CNN New Year’s Eve hosting gig, lost several endorsements, and her remaining summer comedy tour gigs were cancelled.
Griffin told another media outlet that she also ended her longtime friendship with CNN anchor Anderson Cooper. Griffin said she was furious that Cooper had slammed her publicly without reaching out to her beforehand.

Cooper condemned Griffin’s failed PR stunt on Twitter, stating: “I am appalled by the photo shoot Kathy Griffin took part in. It is clearly disgusting and completely inappropriate.”
Predictably, Griffin blamed Trump supporters for the almost-universal consensus that her gruesome PR stunt was tasteless. “These Trump fans are hard-core,” she said. “They’re a minority, but they know how to act like a majority.”
When the Sunrise host suggested the photo was inappropriate, Griffin exploded: “You’re full of cr*p! Stop this. Stop acting like my little picture is more important than talking about the actual atrocities that the president of the United States is committing.”
In June, Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson said Griffin encapsulates the left’s hypocrisy and chronic victim mentality.

Rather than take responsibility for her wrongdoing, Carlson said Griffin played the victim, claiming she was bullied by Trump supporters and the Trump family:
She’s the perfect embodiment of what the modern left believes. Griffin publicly fantasizes about violently murdering the president, yet she holds a press conference to announce she’s the one who’s been wronged.
Carlson said Griffin’s comments aren’t surprising because liberals always play the victim. It’s a way to avoid accountability for offensive things they say and do while shilling for public sympathy after they caught doing something wrong.
“The most remarkable thing about victimhood is that it allows the alleged victims to commit the very offenses they are complaining about,” Tucker said. “Victimhood has more benefits, it turns out, than AAA. And it’s free. It means never having to say you’re sorry.”
