Is anyone else even surprised anymore by the Rays?

I mean our pitching rotation was destroyed, we have no bats besides Longo on paper. Lost our head coach, one of the three best pitchers in the game.

And second in the division...still..with the other four teams being massive spenders.

I don't understand how this team keeps doing it honestly. It's kind of ridiculous.

Baseball is luck at that level is how. Every team goes .400 to .600, they all have the same fucking record cause they play 162 games. It would be like if NFL teams played 4 or 5 QBs over the course of the season, every team would finish around 7-9 to 9-7.

Ehh...not so sure it's about luck or teams like the Cubs would have struck gold in the last 100 years.

To a degree it's luck in individual games, but it's not like you can't tell a big difference between the Astros and the Yankees either.
