I love the Star Wars franchise but how did you get that from that clip. Clip was kind of lame.

Yeah it's hard to get a good reading on a 2hr+ movie from a couple min clip that is edited to look the best.

He was likely powerful enough to have his spirit wonder around. Sidious was powerful enough. In between 6 and 7, he took over a few bodies including a storm trooper. He turned Luke over to dark side for a brief moment then he turned back. I believe by the time episode 7 rolls around, Luke has completely mastered both sides of the force.
