I found it out a little while ago so I bought this cheap antenna and it works. I saw part of the Survivor finale last night in 1080i. Of course it gets a pittance of channels (at least where I live) but it's way cheaper than cable or satellite. It's good for football season.

Yeah. You know there's never ever any CFB on ABC, CBS, or NBC. And HD cable is ridiculously expensive compared to a simple antenna, especially if all you're after is football and a couple of non-OTA channels, as is extensive Redbox use compared to Netflix.

You can always find streams if you have to have the ESPN games. Plus the replays are free on ESPN3.

However there are times when the GAMES I WANT are on espn. Therefore I prefer having espn as well. Just like the secNW. When Bama has the cupcakes.


And no Charter internet, and 4 HD DVR Boxes with all 4 premium channels plus a phone line was like $115 in Bama.

Take off the premium channels take off the net, take off the phone line and the extra 3 boxes that shit is like $30 or less

It's the standard crap that comes with the Internet service and I don't really watch it outside of football. If it weren't for the Web and football I'd never use it.

A cheap antenna gets me better picture quality than the cable where I live. Just one of the reasons I hate cable.
