Opinions of USC's coaching search

Postby canesupremacy » October 1st, 2013, 7:08 am

The same ego that got USC in trouble with the ncaa will cause problems again. uSC is grossly exaggerating how elite their job is right now. They have few schollies and in a few years will have few upper classmen. Miami had more schollie restrictions and it buried us. It will take many years to have large upper classes that are the backbone to winning. What quality HC would want to deal with that. Del Rio has never spent one day recruiting

Bama was on probation when Saban took the job and they stunk under Shula. Then played for and won A nc while on probation.

Oklahoma played for a nc while on probation.

If memory serves, Miami was fresh off probation prior to winning 2001 nc.

FSU recently came off probation and had no problem getting talent.

Ohio state - recruiting just fine

USC is a top 5 job in the nation. They just need to hire the right guy though.

It's one of the easiest jobs to get great at too. They have an absolutely stranglehold on every five star recruit in the west. They almost pick and choose whomever they want and no one in the pac-12 can compete with them recruiting wise, even Oregon still struggles and they have all the cool stuff and money and still can't get near USCe in insane recruiting.

I hope they fuck up the coaching search tbh...USC is very, very dangerous with a good coach every single year. Same with Texas.

:dog because nobody else pays players, gives them perks, and kickbacks. If you're in Los Angeles, you're the one Running back everyone pays to see, and you want to live in a house in the hills with the celebrities. You're not going to push for that? Really, you think they're not going to give you that? Plus, the SUV, and whatever else. GTFO.

Whenever these programs get "caught" it's the NCAA robbing peter to pay paul.

UGA gave country ass Hershal Walker something for the one title your punk ass wasn't even alive to see.
