So just watched the offense on youtube

Murphy doesn't have a great arm which could be an issue, but I like one thing about this kid. He checks down and changes the play at the line...we haven't had a QB do that since fucking leak. Somehow this is actually true...how can the only QB who knows how to read a defense and change the play be a fourth and third stringer his whole career but our starters can't fucking do this...it's unbelievable. He had some bad throws in tight coverage he shouldn't have thrown, but he looked pretty decent in comparison to the shit we've had for the last four years. Not claiming he is great for the "it was vs Tenn people". There are apparent flaws. Just noticing the ability to read and change based on the defense that we haven't seen here is really cool, and puzzling. We still need Taylor as our RB because he can be the home run threat on the ground cause Murphy doesn't have the arm to win games by himself.

The second thing he PROGRESSES READS. Holy fuck...I didn't know our offense allows you to not lock onto a receiver. If he had the arm strength this guy could be pretty good. He has football intelligence the coaches always "praise" that...but his physical gifts are still a question.

That and he has to get better at not turning the ball into the center from shotgun..did it twice. That could be a major concern if they don't get that worked out.
