Applying wrasslin' rules to football. It's pretty dumb. Then again, so is wrasslin'.

Actually, it's more like boxing rules, though one might argue that it's the same difference.

Fair enough. I never really paid attention to either. I think it kind of sucks that to be a good boxer you're basically going to throw away your brain. And wrasslin', just

The stupid thing is that it's even more flawed than the system they were whining about.

They thought that the 72 Husker's team was the best in their lifetime. They went back and looked at the Minnesota team from 1934, I think it was, as well as the first ever CFB game, and found that in all three cases, the championship belt would have been won by Nebraska in that Orange Bowl.

Aren't most wrestling titles changed during pay per view matches...don't they lose in non title matches. Maybe it should only change hands when playing a ranked opponent O_O

Yes but how many more times would Team A have been champions OR how many more teams would have been the champion?

Like 90% of the time the title, especially the Heavyweight aka major titles change on PPVs in the Main Events.

A lot of times (especially with bad booking) the champion is defeated but in a non title match, or they lose via interference, or DQ therefore the title doesn't change hands that way UNLESS its a special match

Miami's run of title defenses is Brunno Sammartinoesque.
