I saw that. Funny how this comes up all of a sudden. Rivals has posted it also. Why would he even consider leaving while in dynasty mode makes no sense.

I doubt he will move on, but if he did, this would be the the most likely place.
The only other place I could see him going is Kent St, to try to turn his alma mater into a winning program.

I agree with this... We went and picked up Smart to interview for the DC job before settling. We offered him huge money and he used that offer to close Alabama on a raise.
Saban WILL go talk with Texas and Alabama will match the offer. Unless Texas offers him 10,000,000 a year, he isn't going anywhere.
The Texas job is THE premier job in all of college football and it sucks that they might settle for a shit bag like Strong and be back at the drawing board in 4 years.

First one I read was that his agent was contacted, then Brown was asked if he ha plans to continue coaching. Then no other talks where made. :dunno don't care either way. IF he leaves then ill be upset BUT he did great while he was here, and helped us end the winning streaks of other teams, plus 3 Natties. So its his life and I want him to stay but he's a Grown ass man

Right now I don't know if I'd be mad or wouldn't care...after the Louisville and Miami crap..I need to see more again. He looked brilliant last year for most of the year with the come backs and out coaching the other team in the second. But he can't continue to lose to in-superior teams. Loses to better teams is fine..it happens. Equal teams as well. But you can't keep falling short vs in-superior teams or the seat will get hot very quick here at UF. We won't let you screw our program up. If we lose to Tennessee, he will be gone by next year that's a guarantee. Foley doesn't accept losing.

I agree, but he's not on their top 5 list. If he gets the offer, he jumps. I don't think he will though.

Not a shot at Bama in any way, but if it came down to bidding war and Texas was dead-set on getting Saban...no school has the money to compete. That's the wealthiest cfb program in the country, and by a humongous margin too. Just stupid amounts money.
Having said that, I doubt this happens. I know Bama would do everything possible to keep Saban of it came down to it, but their checkbook just isn't big enough.
