He took a knee(which I thought was also stupid). It looked like he just set the ball on the ground, but I rewound it and he did take a knee.
The bigger fuck up was the refs letting the ASU player sit on the ball for 13 seconds and then tell Wisconsin not to line up which ran the clock out. Those mother fuckers should be shot at dawn and whomever paid them off. :chaingun

That dude was an assclown and a half. He didn't know where he was and was even giving descriptions of what the coaches were doing over the PA, which is something that is a common sense mistake sense you are disclosing the coach's strategy for accepting or declining penalties. :facepalm

It's a tough call either way, but they could have called the defender for delay of game and given Wisconsin an untimed down.

The BS ruling that if you fake a kneel and your knee doesn't touch the ground it's considered down. Happened to Leach at TTU, I believe. As far as I'm concerned, Stave fumbled and ASU recovered.
