Rivalry Week: A Look Ahead To Week 14

Postby theSabanator20 » November 11th, 2013, 4:48 am

SEC:

Alabama @ Auburn- This will be the most important Iron Bowl since 1993.
What's on the line? The SEC West and a chance to go to Pasadena. :champ
Arkansas @ LSU- The Golden Boot Trophy is purely for bragging rights.
What's on the line? A chance for Arkansas to salvage their season and LSU trying to avoid a potential Music City Bowl bid. :facepalm
Texas A&M @ Missouri- Former BIG12 rivals dueling it out for a claim as the best newbie in the SEC.
What's on the line? Texas A&M shooting for a 2nd straight Cotton Bowl and Missouri hoping to lock up the SEC East for a chance in Atlanta and a possible BCS Bowl bid.
Ole Miss @ Mississippi State- The Egg Bowl is critical in recruiting for both schools, and while the Bulldogs have been competitive this season, they lack a signature win.
What's on the line? A potential Outback Bowl for Ole Miss and Mississippi State's bowl eligibility.
Tennessee @ Kentucky- Both schools are bringing in very impressive recruiting classes this season, and this game will probably swing momentum for next season.
What's on the line? Potential bowl eligibility for Tennessee, and a chance for Kentucky to salvage their season.

ACC:

Virginia Tech @ Virginia- Oh how the Hokies need this win. Virginia plays spoiler this year.
What's on the line? A potential chance to lock up the Coastal for VT and a chance for Virginia to salvage their season.
Duke @ North Carolina- Who would have thought the Victory Bell would be so important this year?
What's on the line? A chance for Duke to potentially win the Coastal and potentially North Carolina's bowl eligibility.

SEC-ACC:

Clemson @ South Carolina- Taj Boyd's last stand vs. Jadeveon Clowney. This is a must-see.
What's on the line? Bragging rights and a potential BCS Bowl bid for both teams.
Florida State @ Florida- The Seminoles are steamrolling teams while the Gators are struggling to find some kind of identity.
What's on the line? A chance for the Seminoles to get one step closer to Pasadena and Florida's bowl eligibility, as well as Muschamp's job potentially.
Wake Forest @ Vanderbilt- The battle of the nerds of the East.
What's on the line? Potential bowl eligibility for Wake and Vanderbilt.
Georgia @ Georgia Tech- Old fashioned hate will be more competitive this year me thinks.
What's on the line? Bragging rights and the chance for one of these teams to finish with a potential 9 win season, giving hope for a 10 win season.

I will update this tomorrow and add PAC12, B1G, and BIG12.

Only Rivalry Game for the PAC12 will be Cal @ Stanford. All the rest of the rivalry games will be week 15.

Even if Auburn takes down turdistan, we still need help from other teams to make it to the NC game. If that is all the case then we really need Mizzou to win out until the SEC Championship and I doubt that even happens.

I think you might have your weeks mixed up...week 15 is all the conference championship games along with some Big 12 games.

And for Nebraska, they will have a pillow fight with Iowa like the last 2 years....always seem to play like shit against them..well more so than usual I should say.
