What if this happens?

Postby JimTrenzel » November 8th, 2013, 7:53 pm

What if Clemson loses to GT and South Carolina, then drops out of the top25 or just barely in the top20
What if Miami loses to VT and Duke and they drop out of the top25

What if Wisconsin wins out and gets into the top10
What if Michigan wins out and gets into the top15 and tOSU beats them
What if MSU wins out and gets into the top10 and tOSU beats them in the champ game

Would FSU still be ranked ahead of tOSU?

of course because FSU would have beaten a top 10 miami team and a top 5 Clemson team by utter domination while OSU plays in the Big suck where literally no one is good. FAU would be 10-2 in the Big 10 at worst.

Wasn't you the one wanting to use ranked teams when they played?

No, I have never used that and will never use that. I might of pointed out that places like ESPN love to do that when it benefits them. USC last year is a great example, I guess everyone on their schedule beat the number 1 team.

So you wait til the end of the season to make judgement after having the final rankings?

Doesn't that seem the most logical? Look at the rankings before post season bowl games?

I wouldn't say that I would say most of those are likely.

SC will probably beat Clemson as usual. MSU and Wisconsin will likely go undefeated. Miami sucks I am sure they will drop at least 1 game.

I just wanted to get your answer. That way we have it on record from Here on out as we like to do on the net to make sure people aren't liars.

And if I get bored out of my mind I search their posts to make surer they aren't lying about previous oats as I have of other previous posters on here

But yes that is the best way to do it when makin a serious logical argument
