Can not remember a Thursday night that was ever this good for NCAA Football. Vegas has the Ducks by 10 and Baylor by 14. I am not touching the spread on either of these games. Just gonna lay down a straight bet. I can not really say much about the Baylor game, have not watched either team play at all this year.
Oregon however should win this game. Stanford D has struggles all year and with losing one starter and another one just coming back, the D is in for a long game. Stanford's passing game has looked mediocre at best, Hogan will be leery of throwing down field because of Oregon's secondary. He will keep most of the passes short. Their run game looks better, but still not as good as last year.
Oregon on the other hand has looked far better then most people thought they would. Everyone was down on them because Chip left, but few forgot that Helfrich has been with Oregon for a few years. D is still suspect at times, seems like it takes the whole team a whole quarter to get moving in the right direction. Receivers can snap out of their funk, the pass game will dominated against Furd. I dont see Mark making the same stupid mistake that Chip did last year, all Chip wanted to do was try and run up the middle. Furd is to big for that. Look for Oregon to keep Furd on the perimeter where the big D cant keep up with Oregon's speed.

The more I look at it, the more I think Oregon should win. But I have a gut feeling that Stanford is going to pull it out. Overall, Oregon is the better team. But you know what they say... The better team doesn't always win.
That being said I hope we don't lose Saturday...
In my opinion, Alabama has 3 hard core rivals. Auburn, Tennessee, and LSU.
I hate Auburn.
I hate Tennessee.
But I hate playing LSU... Because they are Alabama 2.0 except they have a retard at head coach that knows how to get guys up for a game. And they play hardest against Alabama. If Alabama doesn't play their best Saturday, they WILL lose. We got lucky last year. AJ went into clutch mode. We could have beaten LSU badly last year but AJs misconstrued handoff fumble changed the entire vibe of the game. We were about to go up 21-3... It would have been ALL but over.

Gotta tell ya, the closer this game gets, the more nervous i get. I know this game in all rights should be Oregon's. But this could be a trap for Oregon.

And I think Im gonna go Baylor. They may not have played anyone, but they are impressive in doing so. I mean, over 700 yds per game on offense is ridiculous. I cant do that on the video game.

Stanford squeaked by a couple of bad teams and lost to another.... whereas Oregon had destroyed everybody they have played.... I say Oregon by at least 14

Ducks by 10-14. Stanford is not as good as last year, Ducks are better than last year. The trees will hang into the 3rd quarter, and fall by the wayside like the rest have this year. I see a couple long td runs right up the gut, tonight, and 3 or 4 td passes by Mariota. Hopefully our D will finally gain some nationwide respect, like they deserve. Trying to stay focused, at work, but sure could use a beer to calm the nerves. :drunk
Have never liked Oklahoma....looking forward to a Baylor win.
Green beats Red tonight!
GO DUCKS!

Two things, first, i dont fully believe that having 7 or 8 OL men is a strategy by Shaw as much as it is necessary because of the loss of their TE's.
Secondly, i have always been led to believe that Stanford is supposed to be one of the smartest universities in our nations. However a friend went down for the game, he was there when the Ducks got off the bus, a Stanford student was there with a sign that read, No NC for the Oregon Beavers.

I tell ya, Stanford could have 15 guys on the filed and not draw a flag. Head Ref has always been natoriuos for being against Oregon.
