Could tOSU beat any of the top 3 in the NC?

What would the scores be if tOSU played any of these 3? Be realistic, don't post some insane number just because you hate me or tOSU.
Bama
Oregon
FSU

Bama 31 - tOSU 6
Oregon 56 - tOSU 28
FSU 44 - tOSU 21

If those 3 hold tOSU to a maximum of 28, then MSU will hold tOSU to about 3 points... No team in the country would hold tOSU to 6 points, so thats just nuts. Thats saying tOSU is only marginally better than Ole Piss.

Meyer is good in bowl games.

I think he'd beat Oregon having enough time to prepare for their offense. I think FSU and Bama simply out talent Ohio State right now.

We played Meatchicken State already this year, defense was not impressive.

Your team has 155 yards and 6 points on MSU, lol

MSU has a mediocre offense and a GREAT defense. That's a good team. They can definitely knock off Ohio State.

Honestly?

Alabama 49
OSU 7

FSU 41
OSU 21

Oregon 35
OSU 38

I could actually see Ohio State beating Oregon. Just because Urban is solid in bowl games and Oregon has a history of struggling vs teams with big, athletic defenses and physical offenses. Even though OSU's defense is talented, I'm not sure they are sound enough and disciplined enough vs a team like Oregon. But hey, we might find out come January. One thing is for sure... if OSU wins out, they are going to play either Alabama, FSU, or Oregon. Maybe Stanford or Clemson, even Missouri or Auburn pending on if they lose the BIG Championship.

:ays

Ohio St has a better offense than the one that put up 42 points on Alabama. And possibly a better QB, too.

In what way?

QB-TAMU
WR-TAMU
RB-TAMU
Oline-TAMU

TE is the only place Ohio State is better than TAMU. Now defense is a different story...

Well they don't have a better QB. Not sure about the better offense, but unless they have that Freak WR then it wouldn't matter. Had ATM not had Evans it wouldn't have been that close.

Also we would have a month to prepare for them and this is after our Defense has played 13 games, not 2....

Not saying I agree with his score. Just saying I disagree with yours that they'd score more than ATM.

Braxton Miller > JFF
I don't really know much about OSU's WRs
Hyde > TAMU's RB
Don't know about the lines.

Ohio St's offense is wired in. Watching them play, they are just scary efficient. They look a lot like FSU's offense, just a well-oiled machine that you can't really stop, you can only hope to slow down enough.

There's no way Alabama holds Ohio St to 7 points. You're crazy or :homer if you think that.

I agree with your scores -to an extent. I have a hard time believing Bama scores more than FSU against the same defense...you guys don't exactly have an explosive offense.

I think they'd have a pretty good shot at Oregon, less at FSU and Bama.

Same. I doubt we'd score more. However we could score through C Jones and Special Teams and Defense, and that could lead to 21-28 non offensive points.

But most likely our offense isn't out scoring yours. Only time I see us doing it is if we faced each other and we HAD to.

Yeah, that's true. I'd give you guys an advantage on special teams as well...ours has been kinda lackluster. And I still don't think we've house'd a punt or kickoff this year.

Bama vs FSU would be an awesome, hard-hitting and entertaining game. The two teams stack up pretty well and it would be interesting to see how Jameis responds to that D and whether or not we can stuff Bama's backs on D. It's by far the most attractive of the match ups...if only the voters could see that and vote us #1/2 like we should be. :facepalm Nobody wants to see Oregon lose to another southern team with a real defense...again. :dog

Miller is a system QB. A great system QB. But he is no Johnny Manziel... Not even in the same ballpark.

Manziel is faster, better in the pocket an out of the pocket, and has great accuracy and touch. He also can turn a possible 20 yd loss into a first down pass(see Alabama game)
