I'm not defending anything. I'm simply stating that you cannot tell conclusively that he was trying to gouge the eyes, and you can't. I see his hand grabbing the facemask, but I don't see anything that looks specifically like he's trying to gouge the eyes. If it is determined that he was, I'd be the first one saying that he should be suspended or thrown off the team. But I believe in innocent until proven guilty. And I just don't see anything that definitively shows him as guilty.

As for the rest of your post, I'll just let that stand on its own. Everyone reading this thread can read that for themselves and make their own judgements.
