If I had to choose between coaching Oregon or Alabama, I'd probably choose Oregon, too. No pressure outside of division titles. I can't imagine dealing with people who literally shoot each other and poison trees over losing to Auburn.

The bammer chick shooting her boyfriend or friend or whoever it was for not being mad enough about losing is one of the funniest things ever lol idiots

That sounds like a Dr Pepper Fansville commercial, HBO style.

That's not going to happen. Clemson made the buyout something like 2x-3x more expensive if he leaves for Alabama... But maybe Alabama isn't that broke.

Dabo would be in a mental asylum after fielding calls from rabid Alabama fans. Tyler from Spartanburg is nothing.

No doubt. Dabo would quit after the reaction to their first loss

Forget the injuries, what about 2003 2011 2012 2017 really 2023 too all those NC and playoff apperances are pure bullshit, dude has like 4 completely fake titles also why did the NCAA never investigate them for any of the obvious stuff.

Every single controversial title won in the last 20 years other than Michigans for the cheating scandal was a Nick Saban title.

Clemson's 2016 title was pay to win. The refs really favored Clemmy, especially with 2 TDs that were the direct result of OPI against Alabama. They had so many close calls, pun intended, that season and even lost. Troy and FSU at the very least should have beaten them that year, too.

Norvell just signed an 8-year extension with FSU, so he's out.

Top 3 are now...

Kalen DeBoer
Dabo Swinney
...and Tommy Rees?

Still got Lane to go to as well.

No to Rees.

I don’t think DeBoer is coming but I could be wrong.

He's afraid to face Michigan again. :dog

Let's look at Kalen's most epic wins from 2023:
1.) Arizona St - "Offensive guru" Kalen DeBoer and Heisman runner-up Mikey Penix rack up 275 total yards and zero offensive TDs in a 15-7 rout of...a 3-9 team that gave up 59 to Arizona, 55 to Utah, 49 to Oregon, and 42 to USC.
2.) Washington St - "Offensive guru" Kalen DeBoer and Heisman runner-up Mikey Penix get outgained 381-306 against 5-7 WSU, but WSU Coug'd it, failing to covert on 3rd down and get into FG range. Then, in what would have easily gone down as the second-dumbest call of the 2023 season, DeBoer decided to go for it on 4th down... from his own 29. Luckily for DeBoer, WSU Coug'd it again, then put Washington in FG range by committing roughing the passer. 2 plays later, Washington was at the 16 with 0:13 left. DeBoer called a PASS, leading to a 9-yard sack, but Washington was still able to kick the GW 42-yard FG.
3.) Stanfraud - In a defensively-challenged laugher, despite giving up 495 yards of offense to 3-9 Stanfraud, UW was finally able to put the game away with 1:36 left. UW was actually losing 28-19 late in the 3rd, and only led 35-33 with 2 minutes left in the 4th.
4.) Oregon St - "Offensive guru" Kalen DeBoer and Heisman runner-up Mikey Penix (13/28, 162 yds), fail to score in the 2nd half, clinging to a 22-20 win over 8-5 Oregon St. Washington's final score (in the 2nd quarter) was on a 32yd TD pass with uncalled blatant OPI (Bama fans will love this).

Looking forward to more epic matchups between Bama and Arky, Barn, Vandy, and other SECt bottom-feeders! :drunk

The big winner in all of this?

Jimmy Sexton.

1. His client (Nick Saban) retires

2. He uses the Alabama job as leverage to get raises for his other clients (Dan Lanning, Mike Norvell & Steve Sarkisian)

3. He then places another client (Kalen DeBoer) at Alabama.

:pimp

Seriously, if any 13-0 P5 team should have been left out of the playoff (which none should have unless there were 5 of them), it was "#2" Washington... Yes, I'm still mad.

I'm not too high on Deboer for the reasons stated above.

Bama also has road games at Tennessee, LSU, and Oklahoma next year. They play at Wetcuntstain next year as well, but they'll probably still suck.

I'm confident that FSU could have lost 23-3 to Michigan, which is better than Washington did.

It's kinda weird that Bama replaced a coach who lost to Michigan in his most recent game... with a coach who lost to Michigan in his most recent game.
