That's fair. I need to stop paying attention to recruiting. Can't stand seeing players decommit, flip, etc. from FSU and we flip absolutely nobody. Early Signing Day sucks so much. How does the NCAA keep making football worse?
Look at it this way.
Since Travis Hunter flipped on ESD 2 years ago, we have gone 23-3. Bolden can suck it, he’ll be in the portal in a year anyways. Our DB class is probably best in the country (without Bolden)
CFB has turned to shit though. Rosters are a revolving door, sitting out Bowls, super conference dictatorship, over paying shit head high school recruits who haven’t proved shit. We live in a society that underpays fire fighters, cops, teachers and have homeless people/veterans. (Pick your injustice, I have no specific agenda just tossing a few out….don’t make it political). At least put a clause in that says if you enter the portal (presumably for more money) you have to pay your scholarship money back.
I would never contribute to NIL. I have fundamental issues with the state of todays college football and paying this ridiculous amount of money to fucking teenagers.
Besides, does anyone think we are stupid. Say a car dealership sponsors player with 500K NIL. Guess what. Price of car parts, service, sales all just increased. Same with any business. Same with the price of nachos or a bottle of water at a game.
