1. Bama/UGA winner
2. Bama/UGA loser
3. Does it even matter?
4. Does it even matter?

This is the weakest batch of top 10 teams I've ever seen.

Nothing against Bama or UGA. They look to be on par with previous champs. But after that?

Iowa is #3? They play their only ranked opponent this week. They'll face another when they inevitably make the Big 10 Championship. It looks like the Big 10 champ will make the playoffs, but none look like world beaters.

Oklahoma gets in if they win out, but their avg MOV against Tulane, Nebraska, WVU and KSU was... 5.25.

Shit's so bad I think an undefeated Cincy deserves a shot.

Can you imagine the memes and pissed off people (Bama fans) after that?

I couldn't agree more... It's a very strange year. Alabama / Georgia appear to be the only legitimate programs this year. Georgia's defense will have done something special by seasons end. 8)

I think it's going to be:
1. Jawja
2. Michigan
3. Cincinnati
4. Oklahoma State

OR

1. Alabama
2. Jawja
3. Michigan
4. Cincinnati

I really don't see Notre Dame getting in and I REALLY don't see Alabama getting in the 4th spot if they lose to Jawja unless it's very close. I think Jawja beats Bama by 14-21 points, though, unless Saban has some miracle up his sleeve.
I would love to see Michigan vs. Cincy just for a change of scenery.

We shouldn’t get in if we lose unless everyone below us lost too, and even then I haven’t looked to see if we should be in then or not but probably not.

Let’s discuss the payoffs as well

The fucking Riley to USC and Kelly to LSU… :shocker

UGA doesn't deserve to be there after Alabama fucked their faces on national television. They'll probably be #2 or #3 in the next CFP rankings. They may even be one of the top 4 teams. But they do not belong in the conversation for national champion when they aren't even conference champions. Until the FBS goes to a TRUE playoff, teams that can't win their conference do not belong. Honestly the 4 team system would be much better if they picked the 4 highest-ranked conference champions. People wouldn't have to bitch and complain (much) if those were the rules (you'd probably even have more G5 teams in the mix, too). Those teams would have earned it more than conference also-rans. If the best team won the national championship every year, the list of champions would be vastly different, so the whole "Well, they're still one of the 4 best teams" shouldn't apply when it's never applied before.

2021 Alabama better hope 2021 Georgia doesn't pull a 2011 Alabama. Granted they'd have to win twice, but mulligans usually suck for the early winner.

I'm so glad I was wrong. Seeing Jawja fans eat humble pie after talking so much shit is so, so, SO gratifying and even the Alabama fans this year are a lot more humble than previous years.
