7-0 UF early on.
Gata fags doing the horns down on TV. How fucking pathetic do you have to be to mock USF? At least Texas is a contender. Little dick syndrome is strong in Gainesville.

I hate it when FSU fans do the upside-down U sign, too.

28-3. USF is trash, especially their QB. Just threw a pick and on the read "option," he ALWAYS hands off. Never tucks it.
This team got blown out by NCSU, so not all that surprising. :dog

It's really understandable why Dan Orlovsky stepped out of the endzone with the 0-16 Lions. Listening to him comment on games is fucking brutal. 78 * 2 = 116.... He makes Ben look smart.
35-3 Go Gata at halftime.

Historically and when I posted that, yes.

They do only have one loss (lots of those teams have won titles the past several years). USF would need everyone else to lose and still some luck to get into the 4-team CFP

Texas hasn't been a contender in over a decade. They finished ranked higher than 19th once since 2009, and they were 10-4.

Texas finished 2018 #9 in the country after beaitng Jawja in the Sugar Bowl. All 4 of those losses were by less than a TD except the second (AKA revenge) game against #4 OU.
2019 Texas was one TD away from tying/beating #1 LSU, whose only closer games were a 46-41 win over #8 Alabama and a 23-20 win over #14 Auburn. All the rest of LSU's games were blowout wins, including the playoffs.

2018
4 losses = not a contender
Beating 3-9 Tulsa and 3-9 Kansas by 7 and losing to 5-7 Maryland while losing THREE OTHER GAMES = definitely not a contender

2019
Texas went 5-4 in conference and played in the fucking Alamo Bowl

Jesus, dude.

Someone tell 1983 Miami(FL), 2002 Ohio State, 2007 LSU, 2014 Ohio State, 2016 Clemson, and more that I don't care to research to give their national championship trophies back. They had close games against bad/mediocre teams and even lost some humiliating games! Non-contenders don't deserve titles.

If a team goes 6-6 against 2011 Alabama, are they middle-of-the-road or good? 2018 Texas went 1-1 against a Top 4 team and lost 3 of those 4 games by a combined 9 points. Yeah, what posers: 12 points away from having one loss to the #4 team in the country.

If Texas wins out (unlikely), they're definitely going to be in the CFP conversation, even with the loss to Arkansas. ESPiN and rednecks would point to it as SEC superiority and how you can't let one SEC loss count against a team since it's a win in any other conference.

How many of those teams lost 4+ games?

How good is 2011 Bama if they lose 6 games? Pointless hypothetical is pointless.

Texas isn't winning out, even with a measly 2 ranked teams left on their schedule. Arkansas had more trouble with RICE :dog (tied 17-17 after 3 quarters) than they did with Texass (33-7 after 3 quarters).

I guess I can be happy knowing that FSU was a contender until the final :06 of the JSU game. :ROFL2 So close, guys! :lolthumb
