1. Our offense would torch your defense 2. Chase Young and the defense would smother Mac Jones Judge Judy breaking a couple of big plays or something would be Alabama's only chance that and some luck like Penn State had yesterday.
Wouldn’t surprise me if it did play out like that.
I think you need OU and Utah to lose, which could very well happen OU still has OSU and Baylor and Utah has Colorado and Oregon.
What if Baylor wins out though? Then they would have beaten every team they played and would have a conference championship, two things Bama wouldn't have. Bama's best wins would be against 8-4 Auburn and a couple of 7-5 teams.
I’m not even trying to get in the playoffs right now. If several other teams lost again then sure we might be considered but unless that happens we shouldn’t.

Utah, OU, Minnesota, Georgia win out
Who goes then?
Clemson, Georgia, Minnesota then who? LSU or Ohio State or Utah or OU that would be a tough call, I would guess it depends on how bad Ohio State beats Michigan.
