I don't necessarily blame him. Especially seeing as we don't know what the promises are to Fields in his transfer to osu.

Coaches will say anything to get a recruit and in turn damages the overall team. Years ago, when Shannon was trying to keep the big northwestern 8 together, he promised the job to Harris. No real competition or anything. Simply handed him the reigns as a recruit.

We couldn't recruit a QB during the Harris tenure because of it.
