why wouldn't he go with Kiffin?

Kiffen is on the list, but the rational (i read) was it makes more sense to go P5 than G5. Not sure I agree but he is close with Locklsey as well.

But, wasn’t his time with locksley pretty bad, considering he was benched due to performance under him where as with Kiffin he was Tua before Tua?

I would think Kiffin provides him a better opportunity, if only going with a coach he's familiar with. JMO

My honest opinion, for a one and done, go to Oklahoma.

There are a lot of theories out there. Another hot one is Miami if Applewhite is your next OC. Supposedly Hurts and Applewhite are (or were tight) during his recruitment.

Oklahoma is deep with 4 star QB's and has a 5 star coming in. Not that the recruit could unseat a Grad Transfer with Hurts resume.

It will be interesting.

A shocker could be (BAMA). He could stay.

Me and Flake don't get along so I have no real inside information anymore but it looks like Tee Martin may be the guy. Sadly. And honestly, I don't want hurts here. Or Perry. I prefer dropbacks QBs. Real QBs.

As for the kids in line at OU, coach just signed a big contract and getting a serious QB to keep his three year run alive would do him wonders for recruiting. Also provides a year to shirt the new kid if desired.

Hurts damn near guarantees a playoff run. His backup from 2018 doesn't have the experience that Hurts does and you need a QB that can go toe to toe with Tua and Lawrence and in regular season, ehlinger.
