Saban may say that in a press conference but where are the results in the schedule? What is stopping Alabama from scheduling more than 1 decent OOC team, why can't they schedule 2 at least or 3 even sometimes? He cited dwindling attendance as his reason, not because the games are uncompetitive or for fairness or for the fact that his team never has to play Georgia or Florida or anything actually logical.

To me the solution to this FCS money problem is spring scrimmages vs FCS teams and not counting FCS games anymore.

Most high profile players even if they don't make it in the NFL can make a lot from their name if they are smart about it. Kirk Herbstriet is probably richer than most NFL players and I am not aware of him even making it to the NFL.
