"Florida State coach Willie Taggart says he believes Virginia Tech players faked injuries to slow down Seminoles"

At least be a man and admit it.

"Asked whether his players deliberately faked injuries, Fuente said, "My answer is we had numerous issues with cramping and guys battling through bumps and bruises and nicks and things they were fighting through."

Of course they faked it. IMO, if a player does that and doesn't sit out for a significant amount of time, you chop block the fucker so he doesn't have to fake it. People will be more hesitant to pull that shit if they're going to need new knees.

Willie can go ahead and STFU until we score a TD.

I wonder how many more were that obvious.

Yes - your helmet comes off, you get penalized one play. You get injured, you should have to sit out 8 plays.

Most teams like to rotate linemen anyway.

Team is moving ball and rips off a big play. Defensive starter goes down with fake injury. Misses one play and comes back in on big drive. My rules: he goes down, he’s out a bunch of plays.

They’ll either stop doing it or sub backups in for the fake injury play.
