Even if hypothetically these top 10 teams would have an average probability of winning each game of 90%, the odds of winning 12 games is still only 28%. The odds drop to 7% if each game has an average of 80%. The odds drop to 3% if each game has an average of 75%.

Winning all of your games is hard, that's why so few teams do it.

I don't believe in FPI, but even their own metrics don't favor either team to go undefeated against UCF's schedule.
