It uses performance against mutual opponents, taking note of game locations, to rank teams. It uses that to come up with a maximum likelihood estimate of events.


The Colley Matrix (which will rank us #1 if Alabama beats Georgia) uses wins and losses, factoring in SoS, without using MOV.
