Yes. Because Saban didn't try to ban Chip's type of offense because he struggles defending it?

Smart vs Chip will be an amazing battle to watch. Though as Auburn showed...Smart still has no clue how to defend a well run spread.

Actually it's a boosters plane. They did the same for Mac and when they hired Stricklin.

UAA's President's son confirmed it first. Now major players are tweeting it. The Florida team just all tweeted as well. I think 30 players tweeted the same smiley face. Appears they just got told.

Considering the current bowl predictions have UCF against UGA in the Peach... this pleases me.

UF has 51 players healthy.

His mess isn't all that bad

QB - Has a top tier recruit coming in. He won with Butt Fumble in the NFL, he can win with Corr for sure. Add in Toney fits his system and was a QB in high school.

RB - Davis averaged over 7 YPC. Def a strong back for his inside zone offense.

WR - Toney, Massey, Cleveland, Hammond, all are pretty talented

Offensive line needs work but Taylor and Heggie are strong

DT - screwed

DE - really good

LBs- okay but no elite players

Safety - Harris comes back, so should be good

CB - Two really good freshman Henderson and Wilson.


So we aren't as bad as the record implies. If fully healthy Mac probably never gets fired. It will take a year to right the ship, but he should be good by year two like most elite coaches.

Am I the only one wondering if PAC coaches could ever do well in the South. Defenses are not soft in the South like in the PAC.
