People who aren't currently coaches don't tend to shoot down these rumors. The more rumors float around, the more people will offer them.

Contract is taking time. Contracts don't happen this quickly with a big hire. Harbaugh's took a week. UF is going to take awhile with Chip because he is demanding. Nobody expected it to take this freaking long. Needs to hurry up so we can get Fields before Early Signing from Georgia :man

The longer it takes, the worse for UF fans

I have no idea if Florida will eventually hire Kelly or Frost (I've heard rumors of both). However, Justin Fields will not flip. He is a solid commit and is close to this class. Florida needs to focus on keeping Corral from flipping to Bama.

You won't keep all three.

Eason is gone for sure, which raises the question. Will Fields and Fromm be OK with splitting duty.

Best case scenario for 2018:

Eason transfers - foregone conclusion

Sophomore Fromm starts next year.

Fields Redshirts - doubt he would settle for this and maybe they split snaps.


2019:

?????????

At the end of the day, I don't see either settling for a back up position in 2019.

Fields is an idiot for going committing to a school with 2 5 star QB's already there when there are tons of other comparable schools in need of help asap.
