3-8 is more than just a bad year but putting them at 22 is not worthy of criticism. 22 is the same as 42 as week two polls go.

Penn State is a great team, tell me what makes other teams better.

They have the best QB and RB combo in the nation, likely a top 10 defense, a great tight end, solid line, good WRs. It was either them or Oklahoma and I am still not buying Oklahoma as being elite, it was more about Ohio State not having any WRs or DBs because they all went pro early.

USC struggled with WMU, Clemson had a close 1 with Auburn and I am kind of unsure of them, so by default I put Penn State there.

Also what gets worse about it, because I ranked Michigan State or something? A team that had a bad year but has been 1 of the 3 or 4 most consistent programs the last 8 years or so.

I could use some of those excuses too last year when y'all came to Norman and spanked us but I didn't. Your boys got their asses handed to em with no excuses. I pretty sure if Ohio St won, I couldn't use that same shit you are talking about. :happyno

Not an excuse just pointing out the fact that these guys are leftovers pretty much, our WRs just suck right now and our DBs I do think could be good by midseason just aren't that good right now, Indiana torched them too. Mayfield was pretty amazing though I just feel like OU doesn't have any other stars on offense, maybe that tight end but he was hurt most of the game. Still not sold on the defense, Ohio State's offense was horrendous the end of last year and sucked the first half vs Indiana. Really OSU should have lost 4 out of the last 5 games but pulled 2 wins out of their ass.

I don't know why either. I think Weber got hurt but we stuffed Dobbins a few times in the second half and Urban got nervous and tried other shit. :dunno To be honest, I don't know why they quit. :lol:
