CFB Imperialism Map

Someone on the CFB subreddit made this, which I think is pretty cool.

The way it works is that each FBS team starts with a grant of land which entails all of the counties for which their campus is closest to the county seat. One odd side-effect of this is that because FIU is actually closer to the county seat of Miami-Dade than the University of Miami, FIU was granted Miami-Dade county. And due to the location of FIU and FAU, Miami was not initially granted any land, since their campus is not the closest to any county seat. And, since they beat an FCS team in week 1, they do not currently have any land (but can later acquire land.)
When a team loses, the winning team acquires the land that the losing team currently holds. For example, Alabama gained the land that FSU was initially granted, but any land that FSU acquires during the rest of the season does not go to Alabama.
