A handful of Florida schools -- including  Florida, Florida State and Miami -- have canceled Week 2 games in preparation of Hurricane Irma hitting the state. However, Irma's impact on college football doesn't appear to be over.
Per a report from the Tallahassee Democrat, Florida State's Week 3 game against Miami scheduled for Sept. 16 is expected to be moved to Oct. 7 with an announcement likely coming on Sunday. Florida State's game against Louisiana-Monroe was canceled, though the Seminoles have continued to practice. FSU announced Saturday that that the university's campus will be closed through Friday, Sept. 15.
Furthermore, Florida's game against Tennessee -- scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET next Saturday on CBS -- is being monitored. The Gators cancelled their Week 2 game against Northern Colorado.

"Our focus is ensuring the safety of our student athletes, staff and families," Florida sports information director Steve McClain said in a statement to CBS Sports. "We will assess our resources and facilities after the storm and we hope for the best for all those in the path of Irma."

No, UM-GT moved to that Saturday.

FSU and Miami are both kinda fucked now, with 11 straight games without a bye. :surrender

September 10, 2004: On this day 13 years ago, University of Miami running back Frank Gore scored an 18 yard touchdown run in overtime to give the Hurricanes a 16-10 victory over Florida State. It's the only game in the history of the UM vs FSU rivalry to be decided in overtime. The game had been postponed due to a hurricane.

Was that the last time Miami beat FSU at home? Pretty crazy, considering Gore is like 1000 years old now.

This is getting ridiculous. It's been a week and the hurricane was nowhere near as severe as they were predicting (and jd still tried to talk shit when I said they like to sensationalize shit like that)
