On a scale of 1 to 10, how cocky are FSU fans now.

I've tried to remain grounded.

I know we have two in state rivalry games left. These games generally don't play out like normal games. These boys are pumped up playing against friends, relatives and former teammates. There are friends, family, former coaches, recruits and scouts in the stands.

I was cautiously optimistic before, but after taking Clemson to the woodshed, I'm admittedly probably getting a little too cocky. There's still a lot of football to be played.

But dammit, if we can go into Clemson and do what we did -ANY year, let alone the year where they're the favorite to win the ACC and possibly the NC (and ranked #3)- we can beat anyone. CAN beat anyone. We just need to remain consistent, that's always been our problem in recent years. So far so good.

And I have complete and utter faith in Winston and Jimbo. Seeing his confidence and leadership for that Clemson game just makes me think we'll never lose a game with him here (obviously, that won't happen, but that's the feeling I get). I know the guys just feast off that confidence so it's not just him that plays lights out, it's everyone. Plus Jimbo has been play calling well and not letting up on the gas, which was another problem we had last year.

There's reason to be cocky, as of right now.

Easily a 10. I work with an FSU grad (and a UGA grad, which was a hilarious sight to see today) who said this may be the best FSU team ever and guaranteed a national title. I was like lolwut, it's not even November yet, how about you calm your ass down a bit and let the season play out.
