Week 8 Slate

Postby theSabanator20 » October 14th, 2013, 5:08 am

Major Landscape Games

Missouri-Florida
Louisville-UCF
UCLA-Stanford
Auburn-Texas A&M
Clemson-Florida State

Upset Alert*

Tennessee-South Carolina
Ole Miss-LSU
West Virginia-Texas Tech
Baylor-Iowa State
Illinois-Wisconsin
Michigan-Indiana
Ohio State-Iowa
Vanderbilt-Georgia

Other notable games

Alabama-Arkansas
Oregon-Washington State
Arizona State-Washington
Houston-BYU

Lackluster Game that will still be talked about

Notre Dame-USC

Overall it's a great week of games. I predict at least 3 of my upset alert games will be actual upsets.
The rest have a real possibility.

Would Stanford over UCLA technically be an upset? We ARE ranked higher.

Both teams are highly ranked and neither is significantly inferior to the other, so no.

The only thing that sucks is that SCAR will come back into the picture if UCF wins, and they're already overrated as fuck. I hope UF beats the shit out of them. I hate those loudmouths more than Boise fans.

Not if other SEC East teams start beating Scar. It will all take care of itself. Let me have this, damn you!

UNC is rated higher than Miami, so UNC will win without a doubt.

ASU and Washington could be a good game. WSU will not be able to run against Oregon, they just have not improved from last year. However WSU can and will throw on Oregon all day, could easily see 400 passing yards from WSU.

Yeah Halliday has already had 13 interceptions this season. Oregon's secondary steps up they could make like hard on him. I do not expect to see more then 50 rushing yards from WSU though, they just could not get their running game going this year.

The thing is it has nothing to do with your secondary... the ball will be thrown straight to the defenders... you'd be better off to put your wr's in at db :facepalm

Halliday has a great arm, and damn good accuracy, he just needs to work on his timing.
