The field is becoming clearer...

Alabama
Oregon
Missouri
South Carolina
UCLA
FSU
Clemson
Baylor
Texas Tech
Louisville
LSU
Stanford
Auburn
Ohio State
Texas A&M
Miami
VT

All of these teams have the best chance of possibly reaching Pasadena. Some need help, some control their own destiny. But this list contains anyone and everyone that's in contention. 2 loss teams are eliminated, as well as non AQs.

Alabama
Missouri
LSU
Oregon
Stanford*
Ohio State
UCLA
Baylor
Texas Tech
Louisville*
FSU
Clemson
Miami
VT*

All of these teams control their own destiny to Pasadena. The rest need help.

*- these teams need no help from other teams, but from the pollsters.

Right now, it looks like Alabama-Oregon in Pasadena.

But Oregon has a tough road ahead, and Alabama has LSU and Auburn as major concerns.
I got a feeling that Miami-Clemson-FSU all give each other a loss, so only 2 of them will still have a chance, as well as VT.
Baylor or Texas Tech MUST run the table to have a chance.
UCLA and Missouri are going to have the toughest roads, but can still get it done.
Ohio State will be in if they win out, with a 25 game win streak. Hard to ignore that.

The BCS chaos is going to be fun to watch in November, as teams are going to either crack under pressure, or rose to the occasion.

-IMO, only Oregon, Bama, UCLA, and Missouri control their destiny. If any 2 of the 4 win out, they are in.

No way in hell Missouri wins out, and I don't see UCLA beating Stanford AND Oregon (both on the road), THEN beating one of those teams again in the PAC-12 Championship.

-Assuming 3 of those 4 lose, I'd say an undefeated ACC Champ would be next in line. FSU and Clemson are already sitting pretty, and an undefeated Miami would likely finish #2 with wins over VT,UF, FSU, and Clemson (or FSU again).

-Assuming 3 of (Oregon, Bama, UCLA, and Missouri) lose, and no team from the ACC remains unscathed, an undefeated Ohio St would be next.

-An undefeated Baylor/Texas Tech would be just behind the Buckeyes, and could jump them if Ohio State's SOS gets any worse.

-Following the undefeateds would be Stanford and an SEC trio of LSU, A&M, and South Carolina.

-THEN comes Louisville... their horrible schedule will cost them.

Knowing college football, this post will likely be irrelevant in 2 weeks. :banghead

Agree simply because Franklin is out. He is huge for that team.

Don't really disagree with anything except that I think one ACC team can go undefeated. I think the winner of Clemson/FSU will go undefeated.
If FSU wins:
FSU plays Miami at home, and considering how good our offense is I don't expect too much trouble. Our offense will bail us out in the ACCCG against Miami or VT, IMO. VT's offense is crap. UF is even worse this year and I don't expect a huge problem beating them.
If Clemson wins:
I don't think they play anyone except SCAR and the ACCCG- if they can beat FSU they sure as hell can beat SCAR, and I think they can win a close ACCCG.

Miami is third in line, only because they have to beat VT and the Atlantic champ to go undefeated, and I don't see them going 2-0 in those games.

Miami would have to beat VT, and either FSU twice or FSU and Clemson. Not an easy task. And that's if they have finally cast aside their bad habit of losing at least one ACC game they have no business losing.

I cant see Stanford or UCLA on that list. PAC12 is stronger this year, but Stanford will have at least one more loss. UCLA is strong, but strong enough.

We will smack VT again this year they are slightly improved but we are much improved and it's a home game again I'm worried about FSU and or Clemson the next 2 games are easy we should get to 7-0 with ease then it will get interesting.
