Yeah, this thread is funny. People still can't grasp that the University of Georgia was not investigated. The NCAA asked one player if he sold his own property and he said, "absolutely." There was no investigation. Period. They inquired as a part of a large "investigation" on multiple players from multiple schools. The University was in no way shape or form, investigated.

Keep thinking any of you know shit. Especially the posters from schools that had been investigated and been put on sanctions for cheating like a mother fucker.

I was a student when the basketball scandal hit. It was pretty crazy because the process went by so fast. Back then, basketball at Georgia was fun to watch and we were one of the best teams on the SEC. ESPN did an investigation and had Jeremy Schapp walking through campus on sportscenter.

People were freaking out because Fred Gibson was on the basketball team, and there were conversations going around that the administration was throwing the basketball program away and severely punishing itself quickly to halt the investigation so that nothing was found to trickle over to the football program.
