For those interested in how a certain poster's poll affected the rankings, here's what the rankings look like with and without his poll included:

SCAR is ridiculously overrated because of preseason rankings (at home only beat 1-4 Kensucky by 7), and Washington's only flaw is losing to some people's #1 Stanford by 3 points under a bunch of contreversy involving fake injuries and a 4th down catch reversed to incomplete without irrefutable evidence.

LOL @ an undefeated SEC team being ranked lower than 5 (UF, TAMU, LSU, UGA, SCAR) 1-loss SEC teams. Preseason rankings are a joke. Missouri so far has been doing very well.

Until now Mizzou hadn't beaten anybody, and they get credit for beating UGA but that isn't the same UGA that Clemson beat and USC lost to.

Their defense has always been shit this year. I'd think an SEC fan would know the importance of defense. The fact that they beat UGA at home makes it that much more significant.

And considering what they lost off of last years defense their Defense is what I expected.


If you could see vle's post then you could find the multiple post where I told 20 that the UGA defense would be much worse.


Defenses are key, however they aren't as important if you have an offense that can help your defense out.

First it's the defenses are great, not the offenses are mediocre/crap, and now it's the offenses are great, not the defenses are terrible.

Do you not see BC shutting down Clemson right now? BC is shutting down a team "good" UGA couldn't stop.
